WHAT IS HUMAN
TRAFFICKING?
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery involving the use of force, fraud, or coercion to exploit individuals for labor or sex. It is a severe violation of human rights that affects millions worldwide, regardless of age, gender, or background.
Traffickers use manipulation, deception, and violence to control their victims, profiting from their suffering. Combating human trafficking requires global awareness, education, and collaboration among governments, communities, and individuals to protect vulnerable populations and bring perpetrators to justice.
